Jelenia Góra (hill) – viewpoint and tower at 221 m above sea level.
Strzebielino Forest District and Paraszyno Pomorskie
At the top of Jelenia Góra hill (221 m above sea level) within the Strzebielino Forest District there is a viewpoint — a tower or viewing platform — which replaced the older structure. In 2020 the Strzebielino Forest District reported that the old tower was dismantled, and a new, sturdier structure was erected in its place.
The new tower is not very tall, but because the area was partially opened up it provides an expansive view to the north and east — including the Łeba river valley, wind farms near Zwartowo, and nearby hills.
It is worth noting that Jelenia Góra is the highest elevation within the Strzebielino Forest District and the height difference relative to the valley floor reaches almost 180 m, which enhances the sense of panorama.

Nature reserve “Paraszyńskie Wąwozy”
The “Paraszyńskie Wąwozy” reserve was established in 2001 and covers an area of approximately 55.22 ha in the Paraszynek forestry unit within the Strzebielino Forest District.
The main conservation objective here is the protection of spring and forest plant communities, including species that are very rare in this part of Poland and have a submontane character — for example ribbed lady-fern (Athyrium filix-femina), purple foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), and the leafless helleborine (Epipogium aphyllum), which is an exceptionally rare species.
An educational loop of about 4 km — the “Around the Reserve” trail — has been laid out in the reserve, with 11 or more educational stations (information boards) dealing with nature protection, springs, forest and species diversity. The elevation difference along the route reaches about 140 m.
The trail runs through picturesque gorges, deeply incised streambeds, beech and mixed forests — making the experience similar to a “mountain” hike, even though the area is located in Kashubia.

Manor in Paraszyno
The manor in Paraszyno, located in the Łęczyce municipality in Pomerania, is a historic manor-and-park complex from the second half of the 18th century. It was built on the site of a former estate whose origins date back to the 15th century. The building takes the form of a single-storey manor on a rectangular plan, with a characteristic mansard-and-gable roof. In the 19th century it belonged to the von Żelewski family, who gave it a more representative character by adding a veranda and decorative architectural details. Before World War II the estate was owned by the von Besser family, and after 1945 it became state property and for a time served as a guesthouse and a dining facility. The manor was once surrounded by a beautiful landscape park with an avenue and a pond, which formed an integral part of the complex. Today the building is listed in the register of historic monuments and, although it needs renovation, still retains the charm of an old landed residence located in the picturesque Łeba valley.
Film “Old People” shot in Paraszyno
The manor in Paraszyno was used as a filming location for the film “Old People” (Polish title: “Starzy ludzie”) — a Netflix horror — which made use of its somewhat mysterious, melancholic atmosphere. The ruined but still charming manor became an excellent backdrop for the film’s story, where the space plays an important role — emphasizing transience, memory and traces of the former world. The austere interiors, the old park and the location in the Łeba valley gave the production a unique, slightly nostalgic atmosphere, perfectly suited to the film’s theme.
