Hi, I am Krystian — the “grandpa guide”
I create OndaTravel.pl as a guide, photographer and filmmaker. I describe places I have truly visited, checked and photographed in the field — from Iceland and Norway to warm destinations, sky phenomena and journeys through film locations.
Instead of generic travel clichés, you will find specific routes, practical tips, photos, videos and tools that help turn a travel idea into a real plan.
Around 95% of the photos on OndaTravel.pl are my own private shots from trips, routes and field work. That is why the guides are not a collection of anonymous stock images, but a record of places I have actually seen, photographed and checked on location.

Where did OndaTravel come from?
My path began with photography and a love of raw landscapes. Over time, the camera, travel and the need for practical planning came together in one place: OndaTravel.pl.
The North is closest to me: Iceland, Norway, the Lofoten Islands, fjords, glaciers, volcanoes and the northern lights. I also like contrasts, so OndaTravel also includes warm destinations, city breaks and places known from films.
I do not want to create guides from behind a desk. What matters most to me is personal experience, field work and usefulness: when to go, how to get there, what to see, what to avoid and where to start planning.
